Colleagues

is with great pleasure that we announce a new milestone of ISIS as Open Source, and the ABCD project progress.

We want to present at this time the site of BIREME Developer Network is hosting the wiki ABCD and ISIS Family products, with the possible cooperation with subversions.

This means that the source codes are available for analysis and cooperation of anyone you want.

ABCD / wiki: http://reddes.bvsalud.org/projects/abcd

This site has much useful and novel, see also the? Hall of Fame? (Hall of Fame)

Subversion is a version control system open source. This procedure manages files and directories and the changes that take place throughout the development of a project. Lets discuss earlier, see the changes. More information can be found on Wikipedia.

To be integrated into a development environment with subversion is needed in svn client PC. Svn multiple interfaces, the most popular for Windows is TortoiseSVN,
http://tortoisesvn.net/ (we use), but there are others.

probably several colleagues in the list may offer better explanations than ours, and answer questions. We appreciate the contributions of the computer to benefit the library.

The ABCD SVN provides the source code on the label? Browse Source?. There

open three directories: TRUNK, BRANCHES, TAGS

TAGS: Contains packages ready for the newest version of ABCD, for both Windows and Linux. For example, the ABCD package is distributed in the CRICS 0.1-beta-windows, and its equivalent for Linux 0.1-beta-linux. The next package is 0.2-beta-linux, etc.

TRUNK: here is the live development of ABC, are the latest versions of files and test files that are not ready versions TAGS. Although it has bases and directories cgi-bin, only the htdocs directory files are modified and updated.

BRANCHES: are the files that have different versions for Windows and Linux. Are the databases (which are under / bases) and executable files (which are under / cgi-bin)

From January begin to receive tickets and assign user / password for volunteers to help in programming. All cooperators will be recorded in the Hall of Fame (see already admitted there are some).

In other news a few days we will
